How to Create a Bulk Invoice


Bulk Invoice is useful to move unbilled time and expenses from projects in your Work In Progress(WIP) tile to your Drafted Invoices window as separate draft invoices. 

For example, I’ll use Bulk Invoice to move the expenses associated with my MMM Media and E3 Consulting projects to my Drafted Invoices window. Here, they’ll appear as separate drafted invoices, where I can make any final edits before I submit each invoice.

The benefit is clear: BigTime does the work for you, leaving it up to you to make any final touches. This article will walk you through the process.

  1. Click Invoicing...Overview from your navigation bar.
  2. Click on the Work In Progress tile.
  3. Check the box next to any projects that you want to bulk invoice.
  4. Click Bulk Create Invoices, which is near the top-left corner of your window.
  5. Click Proceed when you see the prompt alerting you that you’re choosing to create a batch of invoices. Doing so will kick off the bulk invoice process.

    A new window will populate confirming that the bulk invoice creation process is complete.

  6. Click on the hyperlink next to results to view your invoice. 

    This link will direct you to your Draft Invoices window, where you can make any final edits to your invoices. Your newly added invoices are highlighted in green.
